By the time the numbers get bad enough for them to consider your proposal, there won't be enough social stability or potential profit on the board to support the kind of change you propose to them. You don't have to sell it to Medium readers; you have to sell it at Davos. Unfortunately, what you are selling would save people and reduce competitive fanaticisms. They feed on those things.
