Actually, the question is, "Are you aware of how much government you have?"
This is why I advocate for incorporating ALL overhead of civilization (including UBI and health) into sales tax. All systems of government (public and private) are driven by choices made at the purchase point. That's where people need to see how much government they have (corporate and public), and decide how much they are willing to pay for, and to know how much they are actually worth when they produce useful work.
A human being can't choose well whether to contribute to their place if they don't know how much it costs not to.
