It isn’t the cows, or the agriculture, but the inept application of technology and communication for the sake of competitive economic survival, rather than for the best work. The big ag tech companies, government and especially media have long abandoned the individual cow and the individual farmer in favor of overgeneralizations, sensationalism and attention theft in the name of competitive extraction. Gentrification of cities favors conspicuous consumption morality of vegans and organic branding, but that doesn’t change the policies of commodity exports, junk foods, cheap starch and chemical profits.
There are myriad tools of improvement to ag systems, but only improvements to profits and political pandering get the good grease.
