Although I logically understand the best explanations are assigned to dating and archeological errors (except for Antikythera, which is just modern bias against prehistoric intelligence levels), I like to hope for alien visits or time travel or missing civilization (Atlantis). The latter are hopeful, whereas mistakes are mundane.
