Back in the '90s when the Milwaukee Brewers sent out the claim that they needed a covered stadium for some hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars, the public voted against it.
By some kind of twisted legal wrangling, the corporate sycophants overruled democracy and built it anyway in order to 'create jobs'.
Then, they had to rebuild it when the 'great' engineering failed.
Who knew we were seeing the end of democracy when everyone was jamming their SUVs onto the freeway to wear ridiculous outfits and get drunk and start fights?
