Back when I was trying to farm for the market, I had a mantra in my head that went,"If our food makes people stupid, sick and lazy, how will our children ever find out?" Once I realized that this was exactly the goal of our plutocrats, I stopped saying it.

Now, I try to not think too much about it because The Economy that they keep telling us is the only important factor in our lives is actually a machine for producing a perpetually growing pool of losers who think they are winning when they have just one more dollar than the next loser. Every 2nd lowest loser is trying to not be the lowest, and it's as mean as any society ever. We sure do have pretty shiny cars, though.
