Before getting too caught up in these symptoms, let’s deeply examine what cities are built to do, and what we actually let the aristocracy get away with in them. Primarily, the lengths they go to for extracting resources (including stability) via propaganda (intentionality) and marketing (unintentional theft of value). What do cities do to citizens, and what should they be doing for them, but most importantly, what should cities be doing for the future of the planet, and in that sense, our grandchildren. Banks and cities make money from poor people by keeping them poor. Skin color is one way to make that process easier. If cities are going to enrich the world, they have to start by reversing the concepts of money and economics so that each new face is seen as a contributor, not as a dependent.
