Brave writing in WesCONsin..eh? Civilization itself is a system that taught humans to not know the difference between bullying and leadership. Ergo, we end up with a Bully-worshiping, Big Money System of systems that each provide a plate of the buffet of what is called "sports", but is really one more aristocratic authoritarian tool of intimidation and laziness. It's difficult to see the connection between laziness and sports, but all high profit endeavors enable lazy leadership. Why think when you can just pay people to conquer everything and steal what you want. Why make actual decisions yourself when you have a spreadsheet of revenues?

Competition is not morality. Money is not merit. Addiction is not need.

Advertising is theft of our time and attention. Sports advertising is assault.
