Burry or not, there are a few factors that the stock market doesn't care about:
1. The actual value of a house (generationally) is whether it puts people where they are useful to their own place and future.
2. Inflation is theft from government creditors.
3. Debt is theft of future resources and time.
4. Advertising is theft of time and attention.
5. Everything depends on cheap food produced with cheap oil, and only about 1% of the population cares about food production, while the rest exist according to markets, not usefulness.
6. Poor health is profitable to corporations on the Index.
7. Sick people don't survive collapse.
8. Betting money on collapse is betting that money will always be trusted, even when people aren't viable.
