That said, I think human intelligence is, most simply, applied to push useful work and value in exactly the wrong direction, as observed in the flow of resources from our places to magical caches of wealth, invisible sky puppets and to landfills. A species' survival depends on its contribution to its offspring's future environment. The bullies' Competition paradigm has been a wild entertaining ride, but it needs to go away so we can stop turning everyone into unaware losers. We now know about the medieval institutions and how they manipulate our Paleolithic emotions, but instead of using technology and science to reverse it, we hand the keys over to idiotic bullies with piles of money.
