Collectively, I see the other end of Lack; the lack of a cooperative useful goal among all human philosophies. For too long, we've allowed various forms of imaginary beings(Invisible Hand, Yahweh, Competition as Merit) to be used as the guideposts of this Loser Production Machinery, and the Consumer-worker loan-drone keeps on keeping busy with the busyness of business.

Maybe subconsciously, the PTB aren't afraid of the common laborer being less wanting on a few acres, but being enlightened, satisfied and ennervated in the cooperative contribution to their children's future resources. It seems like a stretch, but isn't this scenario much like what was found in the 'terrifying' New World(once they bothered to learn any of the languages)?
