Don’t let the algorithms get you down. I think a niche is overrated, especially on Medium. Right now, the competition for attention is cutthroat and overall attention is in a lull as people take a breather.

Write whatever and however it comes to you. Sometimes, it’s redundant, but you have to keep going because it’s what you do well and the practice and accumulation becomes your future voice.

Popularity is not as important as useful.

America has an infinite number of beautiful places and people to see and visit, but everyone can’t visit everything. Keep being you whether or not you get the tourists to pave a path to your place.
