Education IS funded: it's called "advertising". Americans spend a LOT more time learning from advertising than they do from teachers. The highest paid public employee in almost every state is a sportsball coach. Sportsball IS the public education system: and it's well funded by all of the things people don't need.

We have all been complicit in an Economy of Stupid Uselessness. Every purchase at "Always Low Prices" is funding that 'education' process.

Do we have a choice? Not without guillotines.

The Oligarchs are rich because everyone buys their oil and works for them to buy cars and beer and 'cheap' food so they have more money to spend on CWDN. The system they have developed to 'educate' everyone is highly effective and profitable.

As long as the oil flows and the banks make loans, the 'leaders' really don't give a fuck how ignorant the masses are; just as long as they know enough to operate a One-Click purchase device and to show up for the drug-infusing slow death we call "Healthcare" (not "good health").

We don't even have to know how to program the buttons: we can buy that service from poor countries that are too poor to be as stupid as Americans.
