Evil: an action taken based on an unquestioned belief. Anthropocentrism be damned, it’s the advertising that is doing evil in the first place by stealing people’s attention and time, grooming them to buy products they don’t need, and teaching children that answers come from ‘on high’. You were right to leave, but there’s a lot of evil left to fight. Advertising is tax-deductible. That means people pay corporations through our government to brainwash us into not knowing we are being brainwashed. It isn’t ‘free speech’: it’s theft.
