Fair points. I have both hope and suspicion of GT as solutions or even useful regarding morality. The trend I see is that eventually, GT will be applied by an AI simulating God, so that humans evolving under religious language will not pass the Turing test applied to them by the AI, and they won’t know that they didn’t actually meet God. That’s the hope part….

The suspicion part is that someone will let it run long enough to change the world, then pull the plug at that point because of fanaticism and the worst religious wars ever will begin.

The RI (Robot Overlord), using Game Theory, practical physics, evolution analysis and environmental science, should be able to come to a conclusion of morality based on NFU (net future usefulness) for humanity. If fully implemented, humanity would become useful to the future of its own resources (truly sustainable). If incomplete, then some corporate wanker would greenwash the System of systems just enough to end life as we know it on Earth.
