Haha! Nice job whacking the bees' nest, there London :) I think I agree with all here in the sense that A: it's overhyped, and B: it's an order of magnitude advance for human cleverness. Unfortunately, as Terry Pratchett pointed out, "Clever will substitute for intelligence for a time, then you die."
Increasing the efficiency of human exploitation of resources and each other is the straightest road over the cliff leaving our plateau of consumptionism.
I am optimistic whenever more diverse options for action are brought to the table, but disheartened when they are evaluated for money's sake only.
