Haha yeah. Any popular show will do that (trigger defensiveness). I thought the show was good, but just too heavy handed on the perpetual stress and effects for my taste, and I do like dark sci-fi usually. I think maybe it's the kid aspect that does it. Most of the political accusations are defensiveness about societal failures that should have been taken care of by common decency decades ago, but somehow were subsumed by "It's the Economy, Stupid."
