Hahaha! The first alternative for any invention is to not have it.

Nobody 'needs' air travel. Just because humans isolate themselves from reality doesn’t mean reality is gone.

I spent a good portion of my life in aviation. The high levels of technological overhead are just plain ridiculous to any farmer. One flight uses enough resources to feed hundreds of people for a year, if not thousands.

It’s not the carbon, it’s the consumption.
