He's absolutely right, though. Milwaukee is a horrible place...but...it is horrible because it's been made that way by racists, corporate family corruption and competition. That city is a smoldering powder keg of redlining, selfishness and white flight/fright. Everyone is an asshole, and the rich like it that way. Go Sportsball! Go Beer! Go Cars! Go Religion! Go Hate!

It used to be a socialist melting pot, but now it's a pot full of charred remnants being sold to convention promoters and tax dodging marketers trying to flip it with a coat of paint and a slogan, "We're not Chicago!"

It's perfect for the Republican convention: a shining, burning example of everyone complaining about shithole countries and ignoring the ones they're making.
