I appreciate this work. I also see how it illustrates institutionalized racism. A little more emphasis on systems thinking and verbiage might help avoid some of the defensiveness you will get. Experientially, I think there are some cultural racism differences among states vs the chart, but not far from the chart. These differences over time might illustrate the effectiveness of programs and their failures. Ie, how influx of new immigrants affects the chart vs generations of racial groups, how distribution and economic factors (urban vs rural) change over time, etc. I think these factors are more heavily weighted in the culture realm vs institutional. An example might be farm ownership in southern states vs midwest/north. Institutional finance/credits don't work if all ownership factors (inheritance, community, labor, markets) are locked in.
