When it comes to any of the identity discussions, two words come to mind: "Identity Tracking".

I celebrate the obfuscation of identities in any way because it thwarts in at least some ways the theft of our time and attention that is Marketing.

You may not visualize the spiderweb of connections that pull you into the bowels of their manipulative machinery by everything that identifies you and your desires, but They surely do. Competitive patriarchy/Aristocracy thrives on ensnaring people to service its desires: most particularly the desire to trap people in narrowly defined 'demographics': eventually to press all into service as 'employees' and 'consumers'. The 'free' Market avoids putting everyone in uniforms because that reduces the massive cashflow from sales of 'fashion'.
