I for one appreciate that you keep trying. I had the privilege of knowing a penpal with intentionality issues. We discussed human choices and systemic agency for years. My background in aircraft and vehicle R and D gave a very cynical view of how people rarely make true choices based on being aware of their own path and part in systemic outcomes or the systems' part in their choices. (re: "Coercion" by Douglass Rushkoff). Saving civilization has to start with alternative coercion systems as much as alternative functional systems. Most people envision a choice between tribal culture vs technocivilization, but once competition and monetization became dominant, they cannot be unseen. Bullies know what works, and merit based on competition drives a system based on first-in, aggression second, thoughtfulness last. Organizing change usually requires a union of people so they can individually disavow aggression by cooperatively overthrowing bullies. Monetized basic needs keep most people from being able to physically extract themselves from the dominant system, even if they know how bad it might be tomorrow. They are trapped in the system of Now until it fails now.
