I have a bumper sticker that says, “Follow your dreams,unless your dreams are stupid.” My modification is “unless your dreams are useless”.

Maybe many of us get stuck because of the incomprehensible uselessness surrounding us. I don’t mean people themselves, but the culture we live in. There are plenty of opportunities for useful individuals to work, but little overall direction, except to consume the world we depend on. All of the same tools can be used to store resources in the planet that we use to store money in banks, but one direction builds a living future while the other only accumulates a dead past.
