I haven’t been really digging into this lately, but I have noticed a conspicuous absence of the Albright revolving door engine.
Much like Iran-Contra, I suspect any actual journalism will just make the muddy waters thicker, rather than sussing out something honorable or authentic for our children in the political or media realms.
In other words, watching the sausage get made will only make everyone puke in the vat.
That in itself isn’t the problem: it’s that the added mass increases profits enough so that consumers are happier with cheaper sausage and workers are disgusted into apathy while owners do nothing different at all.
