I like what you’re trying to do and your attitude. I think you should connect with Douglas Rushkoff on the blowback of sociotech science and writing (re: “Coercion” book). In other words, don’t let the capitalists use your words to actually make more money.
My perspective is that all decisions are made at the payment point. In the case of social media, that point is the advertisement purchase and the device/app purchases. Right now, advertisers get a tax deduction instead of a penalty for brainwashing our children, and let’s face the fact that technology neotonized humans. We should treat all advertising and associated profits as theft of time and attention from mentally disadvantaged human children, just as most religion should be treated. What they and the stock markets are doing to future people is criminal in its intent to harm the future for immediate rewards.
