As much as the romanticized version of churches is kept in our mythology, the bottom line is that churches are actually a tool of exclusion, but they are also a useful tool of civilization. The long term question is whether civilization is useful to Nature itself. We need tools that allow people to be useful to places, not to authorities and money.
