I love this review, whether I play the game or not. I used to work for the Navy near DC, and everyone hates everyone and everything (except the car dealers and lawyers who rip everyone off, including each other). Everyone is suspicious of everyone else, but not paranoid/smart enough to know why or who to be worried about. Then, there are the infinite systems of systems and schemes to subvert them (including the ones they make themselves(hello Pelosi and income tax code)).
Political sycophants (Sunday talk shows, NPR, war advertisers) then try to justify it all for the sake of 'freedom' or 'humanity' or "the Economy (of) Stupid"(who is this "Stupid" guy, anyway?), while Nature just laughs and turns up the thermostat until the crowd clears out. The only thing worse than doing a gub'mint man's job for him is to make him do it himself. That's why the LC^3(Lying Cheating Conniving Contractors) do so well; they set up schemes that let the government guys go golfing or drinking and call it "work related".
