Hope is what gets people to ignore reality in favor of dreams.

What those dreams turn out to be in time is up to our collective actions. Resource destruction and wastage doesn’t support a favorable outcome for approximately 5 billion of us, but hey, who’s counting deaths anymore, right? We’ll think outside the box and back right up tight to the box (consumptionism).
