I see your point, Frederick, but I don't give Trump any credit for intent except his ability to hoover up the attention so that the idiotic so-called 'moderates' have an excuse to keep their own oligarchs sending checks. Otherwise, the credit goes to the tax-avoidance long game of the rich American families (Koch, Uhlein, Bradley, Morgan, Dulles, etc). They aren't really trying to stop any killing; they just want to make and keep money. The Christian theory works in Revelations; a hallucinatory dream (perhaps time travel, who knows?), but Trump's behavior with selling gold and cryptocrap is more a satire like the movie "Dogma".

If any of them actually gave a shit about people and children, there would be less of everything that inflates debt and the money supply. Perpetual growth of the economy may slow as the amateurs dismantle government, and who gets blamed for the dieoff doesn't really matter anyway. It's all good if we don't use guns, right?
