I submit that the greatest source of meaning is usefulness to one’s place and future of the place (soil, structure, stability, etc), whether individually, as a community or as a species. All religions and philosophers seem to get lost in anthropocentric suffering and politics, and forget that’s all imagined by humans who forgot how to be animals useful to Life.
