If anything, the conclusion/summary could be (as another commenter wrote) earlier, with the details filling in the ‘why’. A tangent could be followed in the more general sense of how people are sensitive to their perceptions of a system being robust, when it’s actually just precisely tuned to one circumstance/flow rate: kind of like how most kids think their parents are reasonably smart ‘because they said so’..until they get to junior high. COVID-19 just dropped the toddler consumers into the middle of 7th grade with no pants.
