I would have liked to see a paragraph more from the perspective of the theft, even rape/violation, of our attention by mercantilism and media. To put the blame solely on the individual is what they use to get away with their ‘freedom’ of speech without restraint on their brainwashing and attention saturation systems. One advertiser doesn’t pay the full price of what they do to a person. The collective efforts of all causes major shifts in everyone’s attention toward consumptionism and fanatical competition over multiple fanaticisms that they call “branding”. Those of us who have worked with cattle know branding for what it really is: a painful mark on an animal’s life value.
