I wouldn’t care so much what the current state of research is if they would all just use the same connections and voltages. Tesla’s pack is probably the most universal fit system based on Elon Musk’s statements about the “skateboard” concept. As someone who does conversions and repairs, I am sick and tired of the marketing and patent bullshit that’s holding everyone back behind the mazes of picket fences.
