I wrote a long response to your whistleblower article, but I'm setting it aside. The gist is probably in one sentence, related to your highlight:

"What's a few women in and out the back door of a pub when you're buying and selling entire military bases daily…"

As long as I remember back to the '70s, the first thing in the news has always been the stock market report.

Wendell Berry said, "A corporation is a pile of money to which a group of men swear moral allegiance."

The stock markets are where everyone else places bets on the competitive moral turpitude of those men.

Modern tax law forces Americans to participate as part of their (unlikely) retirement plans.

I like to say "It's all in the marketing, and it's ALL marketing.", but there's a huge component that is the Total Corruption Bureaucracy of the 'progressive' income tax delusion.

Meanwhile, Nero is setting fire to more than just Rome these days.
