If soulmates are half off, then we can assume there's a surplus of them, and perhaps you can hold out until they give them away with the power drill (probably cheaper and more useful anyway, especially for installing the cat playground menagerie). It's been my experience that soulmates are what you make them into, and like anything you buy, save the receipt and don't expect too much from the extended warranty.
