I’m going to help you out with that. There’s no such thing as a middle class. There are those who have to work (or get unemployment, etc) in order to eat, and those who never will. The latter are so much richer and not beholden to debt that they might as well be aliens (some have started building rockets, but they don’t have to care about it).

The rest of us (yes, you) are dominated by a system of exploitation by our own products, fanatically competing over competing fanaticisms (“fan" is short for “fanatic"), raising children brainwashed by tax-deductible theft of their time and attention, all under the purview of The Invisible Hand Job and politicians elected by citizens of little bizarre states where the highest paid civil servant is a sports bully (oops, I meant ’coach’).

You want out of a mindless middle class because you think you are somehow not part of all of the homo sapiens rapiens who have sucked a billion years of carbon storage out of the ground in order to worship chrome plated death machines and shine each other’s shifter knobs.

Relax. We’re all going to die soon enough, and the only thing that is going to fix the entrenched systemic stupidity is collapse.

I mostly only feel pity for the human race now. My daughter bought me a coffee mug that says, “If Grandpa can’t fix it, we’re screwed.”

Guess what, chicken butt!?
