I'm running a test right now to see what happens. It involves millions of dollars and corporate and government intrigue. No matter how the test comes out, everyone loses. That's what makes it fun.

"option on community solar installation".

Basically, if the economy fails, the right wing wins, or the government doesn't have leadership enough for the laws to pass and enable installation, then we know that electrified civilization is over. If the economy doesn't fail, the laws get passed in a particular state, AND the investors stay motivated, then we'll know everyone is deluded and willing to destroy the planet just to have a little electricity (and profits) for 25 years.

Instead of a win-win, it's a lose-win, win-lose predicament. As far as I'm concerned, it's better than the local CAFO buying the land to inject toxic levels of waste into my neighbor's water supplies.

I'll know how it turns out in the next couple of years.

IMO, the bottom line for any product being sold is this: If I can't repair it, burn it or bury it (compost), then they shouldn't be allowed to sell it.

Not my fault. Prices don't reflect the consequences. That's on society and government corruption. I've spent too many years believing that saving the world was my responsibility. Once I realized that the world consists of a bunch of bullies making plastic death (human civilization), then I don't have to stress about it failing. In fact, I encourage it. Grandchildren? Yes, they have a rough road ahead, but the status quo is just making everything worse.

It's all in the marketing, and it's ALL marketing.

"I think it's time you set this world on fire

I think it's time you pushed it to the edge

Burn it to the ground and trip the wire

It may never be this good again.

..

It's so dark I can't see

All the truth inside us

All I want is to feel

something that's real before the end.."
