One of the things I've come across in reading about it that makes sense to me is to not reflexively fight the concept of suicide. People who have been through trauma or hardships will always have the doubts about their own worth or fortunes. The question becomes one of options and time: can one more day make that much of a difference?

Procrastination doesn't have to have a limit.

"There's always tomorrow."

Meanwhile, they live another day, and another, and another to look for ways to be useful. It's all any of us really do.
