I'm still intrigued by "The Greatest (marketing))Generation". They fought a world war against expansionist fascism, then proceeded to build fanatical consumerism at a perpetual growth wartime production level, and they didn't even know what caused earthquakes or volcanoes until the late 60s. Today's descendents of those mad men are selling a story that ignores 70 years of improved understanding of Nature's laws in favor of bibles, bullies and blowhards.
