In the bigger scheme of Life and consumptionism, it’s always the decisions made at the checkouts that drive the car of extraction economics. It’s a big circle of extractionism, but the bullies take a bigger slice of it and thus have the most lunch meat to offer government liars when making 'suggestions' (prepared bills and press releases accompanied by contributions). Government expands the circle (deficit spending to enslave future taxpayers and natural resources) as well as the complexity, putting accountants in charge of all engineering decisions (social or otherwise).

It all thrives on complexity and deception (income taxes, jobs and externalized costs) of the “Consumers All"* society (now global). The complexity discourages usefulness and encourages deceit.
