In the moment, the extreme sense of those men approaching as though their lives depend on apprehending, regardless of the reasons, and a woman calmly standing there, knowing that in the very next moment, she will not have control of what is happening to her body in space and time. Something like the moment of a car crash, or falling into a river. That moment of calmness which I called dignity. I am not implying anything beyond that one moment.
