Isn’t this the lack of courage to be self-aware that lies in bed with our collective apathy toward techno-desensitization?

Our inner misanthrope may be telling us that we aren’t acknowledging that the human behaviors and evils we despise aren’t because of human intentional awareness, but civilization’s systemic insanity. We have to fight our disgust with people, but the exponentially greater power of the commons is being used against our innate desire for sensibility and cooperative good. Our brain evolved trust in the commons to seek common usefulness, but modern systems exploit that trust for the sake of senseless goals (money, consumerism, blind competitiveness) and the profits of entropy increase.
