It's not the proof, but the process that needs to be established.

The burden of 'proof' really isn't so important as the burden of skeptical analysis. Refusal to allow analysis is the preposterous part.

Evil: an action taken based on an unquestioned belief. (this is not just applied to religion, but to anything, especially economics, engineering and medicine).

Human: a primate that builds a model of its environment inside its brain, and upon physical maturity, moves a model of its self inside that model, avoiding reality at all costs.

Civilization: a system of isolating humans from the risks and response abilities of the natural environment that spawned them.

Good: an action, entity or process that adds more usefulness to the future of a place than it consumes in resources.

Deity: the marketing department/propaganda icon for tribal meetings of humans.
