Lately, I have been thinking about the continuity of souls through generations.
Our soul is our useful contributions to people and places we touch. We don’t carry our own soul. We carry the souls of our ancestors. Our children receive our soul to carry. Too much of the paradigm of carpe diem is applied to breaking the continuity of souls by living in the present. This influence allows us to accept the consumption of the places (in order to save the illusion of value(money)for retirement)our grandchildren will need for carrying our souls to their children.
Investors place bets on the soulless moral turpitude of corporations (a pile of money to which a group of men swear moral allegiance) in the hope that The Invisible Hand Job pyramid scheme will continue to competitively extract life from the Earth to burn in our land yachts after we are unable to mine holes for ourselves.
