McKibben is usually in the "likely" category, and everything driven by advertising is usually in the "unlikely" or "insensible" category.
Farms in North Carolina just got a big dose of sensible awareness. Insurance companies are becoming more sense able every year and pulling out of Florida, California, etc. High populations are now directly correlating more with high risks than high rewards ("likely" stories).
Anyone working in sanitation and landfills can tell likely stories about the future of humanity and its technology.
