My first thought was "Joe vs the Volcano without jumping in", but then I realized the World is already planning for the ending (a Miracle from AI, electrification, the Invisible Hand, MMT, crypto, ocean mining, hypersonic missiles, Revelations, etc etc etc) while avoiding actually thinking about where and how, let alone how much it all takes to keep Humpty Dumpty from falling off the runaway Consumerism buckboard.

I realized long ago that I might be able to perform minor miracles myself because most people don't know shit about how their personal world functions, but I can't change the model in their brain that a lifetime of advertising has filled with Winnie T Pooh's bit of fluff. Humans love their fluff bits.

The search engines themselves illustrate, not how much people want to know, but how much they don't have to. The desire for AI illustrates how hard people believe in an opportunity to not live natural life themselves, to not think about hard things, to not do hard labor: but only when these things are 'wirk' or useful. Convince people that it is useless competition (vacation, religion, conspicuous consumption or a sport) and they will torture themselves and enslave their future self to go somewhere they hate with people they don't know and convince themselves it's the GOAT.

Writing about what people don't know works if you sell the idea that they will easily soon know something (listicle), but before they get it, they watch advertising about sex, drugs and nostalgic times when they didn't have to take on responsibility.

If your solution to climate change(or almost anything) begins with raising money, you don't understand the problem.

People aren't going to pay money to be told to stop paying money.

Meanwhile, nobody gets to walk away from global warming. Like our ancestor rodents, we only get to chew another hole in a dead dinosaur while hoping to avoid the falling debris.

Mammal lives are too short to see when we are winning or losing and simultaneously see which is which.
