The bottom line of "right" or "wrong" comes down to the persistence of the species in its real physical environment. Pre-industrial civilization was closer to the tooth and claw nature that demanded perpetual pursuit of growth and competition in order to survive random risks. Bullies get faster results than thoughtful leaders. We are still teaching children to build their model of human existence based on tooth and claw competition, but we just move it inside another model called "civilization", so the disconnect from our resources through money and exploitation allows for the bullshit jobs, bullshit arguments and overall useless consumption of time trying to use insane behaviors to understand useless ones.
