Nice rant! Thanks. Many will be experiencing a type of wildness of their own as disasters increase and ready cash(credit) decreases. Going full alone is enlightening, but so is the experience of a community broken and isolated. For the time being, governments will try to restore affected communities, but increasing costs and bankrupt insurance companies will inevitably force degrowth. The questions of How fast?, When?, and What intention will be applied? are already waiting for anyone to ask.
