Our capitalism IS our democracy now. Votes are tallied at the cash registers, counted and collated by corporations and passed on to donors and congress and the intelligence agencies to support keeping those ‘votes’ coming in at all cost. Banks take their ‘votes’ coming and going, and the lawyers get their pound of flesh every time someone forgets to dot an I or cross a T.

Think about the cashflow instead of the society. Leadership(morality) is dead: a spreadsheet took its job.
