There is absolutely no natural need for people to fly. It’s a fantastic construct of civilized power, but it’s completely unnecessary, and the more we strive to make it more complicated and “efficient”, the more we end up with the Boeing 737Max fiascoes. Everyone wants it to be cheap and safe, but cheap always wins when profits make all of the decisions. Airships are cute and fluffy puppies, but my cat can take one down.
